Great News for Ogmore.

Plaid Cymru substantially increased its representation on Bridgend County Borough Council last night, Malcolm James successfully defended Llangynwyd with almost 600 votes, whilst James Radcliffe in Aberkenfig and Tim Thomas in Ynysawdre will represent Plaid Cymru on the council both taking their seats from Labour.

Huw Marshall who is contesting the Ogmore constituency for Plaid Cymru on the 9th of June was delighted with the results:

“It shows Plaids positive message for the future of Wales is beginning to resonate with people within the constituency. We will carry this message forward into the general election and offer the people of Ogmore a genuine alternative that will put the interests of the people and our communities first”
